Well done.
Rarely do I find a investigative journalist or podcaster that is able to not insert quite a bit of bias, emotion or opinion into the story. Josh gave a thorough, fact based account of this story. He found the balance of being professional and objective and still maintaining humanity by the empathy and emotion he clearly had for the children and families caught in this garbage dump of a situation. I walked away feeling so bad for the children. I don’t have much empathy for Sam Sally, I still believe she knew exactly what she was doing. As my grandma said though, only the spoon knows what’s stirring in the pot. Furthermore, after hearing this podcast I am satisfied she has paid dearly already for her decisions and likely always will. My hope is that she will somehow find a way to redeem herself to her children, her family, and her country she betrayed. A good first start would be to be honest and accept responsibility-neither of which she has fully done. Bravo Josh can’t wait for whatever you do next.
