Everything happens for a reason
I cannot begin to thank you for the timing of this podcast. I consider myself an extremely strong Sista from Brooklyn but this one is really getting the best of me. I have a black son, a daughter and biracial grandchildren, needless to say I am petrified and almost paralyzed by fear. Thanks to your podcast I’m going to teach myself how to “numb myself” so that I can process everything that goes through my head one thing at a time. Being a Scorpio and a School Site Administrator in a predominantly white/Hispanic school people always see me as a tough, no nonsense, hardnose woman. But behind all of that is a scared mother and grandmother of the times that we live in. So again I thank you for your podcast, it could not have come at a better time.
