“Short Review: It doesn't get much more real than with the Willits. If you want to engage your faith and find encouragement through knowing your not alone in your struggles, subscribe to The Catholics Next Door immediately. Greg and Jennifer are real. They are grounded in their faith and they live it out in front of podosphere. Your own walk will be enriched by sharing in theirs.
Longer review: It doesn't get much more real than with the Willits. I've listened to many podcasts with "real" people (as opposed to radio/tv or other professional personalities) and many of them (dare I say most) sound a bit too real. The quality is generally average to poor and the content while honest and admirable, often wanders, meanders, and adds 30 minutes to what should have been a 15 minute podacast.
But that is NOT what you get with The Catholics Next Door. Greg and Jennifer have an incredible ability to be open and vulnerable "on the air", to share their daily lives, but to make the whole thing sound as though it was a professionally produced radio show. (Of course they did have a stint (ok...a long stint) on Sirius/XM.)
Greg and Jennifer are solid, orthodox Catholics actively seeking to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives. They are at the forefront of The New Evangelization and truly desire that everyone should know the love of God in their life.
