The show is great, but the companion podcast…
Not so much. I love the show. When I watch, my attention is not concentrated on one patient, as it seems to be by the hosts of this podcast, however. I would have less of a negative opinion if Laila’s entire personality had been addressed and not just how hard she’s had it in her life (eye roll). The fact that the girl has been given more than most people will earn in their entire lives should be part of the conversation. I’m not saying she had nothing to take to therapy, but I AM saying she has less problems than people with hunger issues, homelessness, the homeless with mental health issues, etc. I would have loved if the hosts had talked about Colin and that weird thing with his ex-wife and “inviting” her to his session.

I agree with you both. Since HBO is a strategic partner...Read full review »
