Really well done podcast and after listening to all the episodes, I truly 100% beloved Ron Tremboli was another innocent man convicted by our corrupt justice system. I have noticed once cops anywhere thing they know who did it, they do not look at any other possible suspects. Also once innocence...Read full review »

The Greek tragedy reference is a perfect description of the unfortunate and even unlikely change of events that led to Ron’s conviction. A true tragedy, Greek or otherwise, of an innocent man falsely convicted.

Very well produced! I hope this show gets the kudos it deserves! Also, I really think he was innocent.

Ben McKenzie pulled me into this, I often listen to podcasts while I’m working and’s always looking for something new and engaging. After listening to this story, I’m 99% convinced an innocent man died in prison for this crime and those poor kids never really got justice. The 1% is because you...Read full review »

After listening to the whole series, I definitely could not convict Trimboli on the evidence available. But other than him being the perpetrator, there isn't a clear reason why his dna keeps matching. Is it inappropriate sampling? Something nefarious behind the scenes? I don't think I can...Read full review »

This case is fascinating. It just goes to show you that you cannot get tunnel vision on a case. The detective has to be open to fully investigate all leads. Yes, it takes time, but the justice it gives to the victims and to those accused is priceless.

Did anybody during this investigation to verify that he contacted the after hours wine and or talk to somebody with the doctors office? And if so, they can confirm the appointment? Or did they confirm that he actually spoke with somebody during the twilight hours?

Podcast was really good until 6th episode when the guy said ‘you know’ between every other word. Got really annoying but story was good.

Maybe I missed it but what about the clothes Ron was wearing that day? They had to be bloody. When did DC state he took or didn’t take a shower? We’re the pea traps in Ron’s house checked for anything that could be washed off? Was the pea traps checked at the scene? If the killer took a shower...Read full review »

After listening to the entire Podcast which by the way,I thought was extremely well done… No doubts were left in my mind at all that there was any way Ronald Trimboli was guilty of the crime that he was convicted of. No doubt in my mind. I now know just how corrupt our judicial system really is....Read full review »

This was a very well done podcast. I believe in my heart of hearts that Ron was innocent. I related to Lisa and felt her pain so deeply losing my own father to opioid addiction. He was my dad. He talked too much sometimes and he was not falsely accused of a crime but he wasn’t a typical dad. As...Read full review »

It’s a very compelling story, but the narrative is so incredibly biased that I found it frustrating as a listener. If the evidence (or lack of) is so absolute and damming, why not just put it out there and let the audience decide what we think? Instead, we are spoon fed this man’s innocence every...Read full review »

Do you know what a narcissist is? She missed her dad’s verdict because you sent her to get the kids when you should have gone. She didn’t get to say good bye to her dad because you decided she needed to stay for a football game. Love how the only option for you was for her to stay otherwise it...Read full review »

Excellent podcast: terrific reporting and interviews. But please, no more distracting music. What’s the point of the repetitive, too-loud musical themes running under the interviews? I almost stop listening because of it.

So much rambling and nonsense, all the actual evidence could have been stated in one possibly two episodes. The host is extremely monotone and either edited others or only chose to speak to those who are almost as monotone and boring as him.

I want to live in a world where those of us who waste valuable time listening to nothingburger podcasts like this get compensation from a pool of money funded by so-called podcasters who dupe us with the promise of entertainment and/or anything remotely interesting.

lLong, rambling disinformation podcast that reveals at the end the retest of the convicted's DNA returned the same results. Maybe the convicted was innocent but the theory about bad DNA is disinformation.Read full review »

What I most want to know now is where is the killer or killers of these 3 people? And are there other unsolved cases that have similar MO’s that could possibly be linked? And while there are no graphic details given to this crime, we are only told of how horrendous it is, does it share...Read full review »

This is a compelling, sad story of a broken system and a devastating case, but is way too long. This could have been done in 3 episodes. As the episodes go on, more and more “fluff” is presented. Worth a listen but be prepared, they needed an editor.

My heart breaks for Lisa and her dad. Lisa is a true warrior for her fight and belief of her dad’s innocence. I too from the beginning of listening to this podcast felt it was a wrongful conviction This podcast gets a 5 star and it is so emotional for all who listen to it My disappointment is...Read full review »

One of the best true crimes shoes I’ve listened to in a while save for episode 6. The guy being interviewed said “you know” about 10,000 times in the episode. It was painful to listen to.

It’s so very important that this story be told w/this level of detail, as our “law & order” system has been broken for a very long time. There are so many truly innocent men & women whom have been convicted of crimes big and small that they had absolutely nothing to do with. It’s true...Read full review »

How do you sneak out of your home without your wife and stepkids noticing, savagely tie up and stab 3 people to death and then sneak back into your house without a scratch? SO MANY emotions listening to this podcast. I knew & worked with Ron Trimboli when this happened. He was a chef and I was his assistant. I was 17 years old at the time.
