Something is missing
After listening to the whole series, I definitely could not convict Trimboli on the evidence available. But other than him being the perpetrator, there isn't a clear reason why his dna keeps matching. Is it inappropriate sampling? Something nefarious behind the scenes? I don't think I can say anything other than I don't think there was enough evidence to convict him. But until the dna questions are answered (and I think that will only happen with some new information coming forward), I can't say he didn't do it either. So strange. One of the best true crimes shoes I’ve listened to in a while save for episode 6. The guy being interviewed said “you know” about 10,000 times in the episode. It was painful to listen to.

This was a very well done podcast. I believe in my heart of hearts that Ron was innocent. I related to Lisa and felt her pain so deeply losing my own father to opioid addiction. He was my dad. This is a compelling, sad story of a broken system and a devastating case, but is way too long. This could have been done in 3 episodes. As the episodes go on, more and more “fluff” is presented. Worth a listen but be prepared, they needed an editor.
