Investigative journalism at its best
I’ve listened to seasons 1 and 2 of “In The Dark” and am still thinking about the episodes many weeks after finishing them. The series’ focus on telling unbiased, factual accounts of tragic murders whose trials are likely miscarriages of justice is a compelling, harrowing look at the state of law enforcement, racial bias, and judicial travesties. I cannot recommend “In The Dark” highly enough.

The first two episodes are excellent in storytelling and research. The author states at the outset that she isn't sure that an investigation that took 27 years to find the killer could be called a success , but I don't find the reporting to be biased.
