“The show is truly well thought out and presented and researched. However, I had to stop listening after the episode in which they discuss the sex offender registries and the hardship it creates for offenders. Sex offenders suffer from a mental illness in which they are attracted to children or sexual violence. This is not cured by prison time. It does not go away after they serve their time. Some may be able to suppress the urge to act on these attractions, but the risk of reoffending is real.”
