The worst.
Had to turn it off. First I did not find her mousy commentary interesting. For the most part she focuses on bashing the police every chance she gets. Her harsh and inexperienced criticism on the law enforcement personnel who handled this case is appalling. Humorous how someone can gain her perspective on how “they should of done it” when she obviously does not understand the specifics involved in conducting an investigation or everything needed to prove someone’s guilt enough to get a conviction. Clearly Ms Baran found it easy to pick apart years of hard work done from dedicated law enforcement personnel-years later not having to deal with any of the physical or emotional factors, from behind her laptop, using the internet, without any real idea of how it works. Insert a golf clap right bout here. I write this from the perspective of a spouse of a 20 year Sheriffs Office employee who carries years of emotions from cases, that affect him on such a deep level he’ll never be rid of them. So easy for people to judge. You couldn’t pay me to do their thankless job because of people like Ms Baran. I loathe her perspective and her ignorance. **Good work to all of the law enforcement personnel who gained everything needed to solve this case**

Serial attempted to play devil's advocate and examine a crime from all angles whereas this podcast has a bias. To their credit, this bias is stated. But like a...Read full review »

Really good this far, episode 2. I thought, this is going to be another "blame it on the police" story but it baffles me how they went about this case.Read full review »
