I read The Gold Machine last week so I wanted to check out your pod. I felt the book was pretentious but maybe your telling would be more grounded. Engrossing, slow telling of a story that connects several pasts with the personal present. Touching conversations between two creative people, father and daughter, attempting to understand the meaning of their unlikely quest. Very enjoyable.
