Way too many gdmf ads. Every 5 minutes another ad. Murders the flow of conversation every time. Basically unlistenable. Trash podcast, poorly edited, lame host to say the least

I don’t believe Alex believes in himself, because he is constantly guffawing when nothing funny was said. It feels like nerves, but it could also be some attempt to make him seem likable. Alex Ferrari isn’t likeable, and he’s not a good interviewer.

Unfortunately it’s time for me to unfollow. Some of the interviews are still really good, but I’ve heard a handful of repeat uploads and I can’t stand the ads every ten minutes. It takes me right out of the convo. I love you Alex and I really appreciate everything you’ve taught me. Thank you!

I’ve tried to like this podcast but Alex is an awful interviewer. He has some interesting guest and topics on the show but ruins it by making inane and irrelevant comments or quips and has an incredibly annoying fake laugh.

I tried to listed to different episodes over the last 2 years and I find that it’s mostly filler. The host has an annoying way of talking and sharing. He laughs at his own non-jokes and they feel forced as if he forces himself to say something just to get a word in. I can’t finish any episode due...Read full review »

I like IFH. Alex does a really nice job interviewing some really interesting people who offer tons of advice. And that is why it gets 4 stars from me. BUT - the number of ad breaks have increased exponentially over the years. Everyone is allowed to make a buck, but at some point the ad breaks...Read full review »

Alex does a great job but I can’t sit through ads about shoes, furniture, etc for what feels like forever.

Great content, great guests but...I think the host speaks tooooooo much, loves to laugh at his own jokes too much, thus very often eating space from the guests. But, he asks good questions and is able to pull out great interviews. It’s a good show.

As a 43 yo, I appreciated the host’s Gen X perspective and nostalgia down his 1980s childhood as he discussed various Van Damme movies.

Inspiring and informative stuff. I just started listening to this podcast because I saw that Alex Proyas was a guest, and The Crow is one of my favorite movies of all time.
