I was hesitant to subscribe to this podcast at first, my only exposure to performance poetry being the likes of Kerouac and other various beat poets, and even that was minimal. The prospect of cheeky, fad-ridden modern poetry kept me distant at first, but as I listened for the first few weeks I heard nearly nothing of the sort. This is a truly excellent podcast. I recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in poetry, spoken or otherwise.Read full review »

This podcast has changed my preconceived notions of performance poetry. I now look forward to each new episode and enjoy the variety presented. This podcast is sharp, funny, and intellectually stimulating. Worth every minute I spend listening to it.
