“As a huge fan of Hitchcock, PSYCHO is a film that’s taken a while to truly grow on me. It’s only been within the past few years that the classic thriller has felt like what I always hoped it felt like. I needed to grow with it, reflect on it. Grasp how much it truly changed the industry.
After reading about the film, watching documentaries on it, I was happy to discover that there was a limited series going in-depth on the history, production, and reception of Hitchcock’s work of genius.
Mark Ramsey’s voice is ideal for the chilling and well-researched narrative he weaves over the course of a few hours. Never being one to go too far into serial killer narratives, the first episode on Ed Gein was particularly disturbing. And I mean that as a compliment.
I loved every bit of the show and I can’t wait to listen to the other INSIDE looks that Ramsey has done for Wondery.”
