Covid lit
Life inside your own head during covid inside your head during an election inside trumps head. It is what I want to call fuse burning ellipses. It of course is not journalism it is glossy magazine story where the old adage don’t let the facts ruin a good story. Only problem is there is no good story. Where the editing and background sounds carry the story. But there is no story. The is no plot. It is chewing gum for the brain. I tell Myself —brain stop chewing. Stop being in internal loops about things that go from breezes to blizzards but it is sunny out side. If you like chewing gum this is it. If you want a good meal, go out and find a good place to eat. But you say everything is closed because of covid and only Wendy’s is open. And Donald trump wants everything to open because he is immune. And that’s not even a story. This may well be algorithm driven narrative. It is not story telling. It is not art. It is not journalism. It’s what is going on in your head because you are on crack iPhone. Stop it. Go out and garden. I am.

The presenter style is coying, annoying and self-conscious. The audience is talked down and the narrative meanders - the concept of the two hander doesnt work for me and the interaction between the two is forced. Not a winner in episode 1 for me and wont be likely to come back.
