INVISIBLE
In our society, people with disabilities experience disproportionate discrepancies compared to abled people—they are perceived differently depending on what type of disability they have, they experience discrimination in not only in the workforce but also in education institutions, and there are fewer benefits for Black people with disabilities than people who are non-black who have disabilities. Additionally, during these times, people with disabilities have been looked past and been heavily affected by Covid-19 who have died at a disproportionate rate due to increased exposure.
