This practical tips reminder is to give things time. A lot of times, we feel like we have to have all hands on deck in every situation, but sometimes, falling back and letting things be is a better approach. Not all good decisions you make will come with immediate rewards. Some things are a test of time and require patience. This ep talks about exactly that :)

This episode is one of the most laid-back and chill episodes that I've had. I had a special guest (one of my close friends) come on and do a late-night talk episode with me, where we answer different questions, reflect, share advice, and more. This episode is more natural and unplanned, but I hope you can benefit from it.

In Islam, the concept of attaching one's happiness primarily to people is approached with caution and balance. While human relationships and connections are important, Islam teaches believers to place ultimate reliance and attachment on Allah (God) rather than solely depending on human interactions for their happiness. The Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH emphasize the importance of putting one's faith in Allah and finding contentment through a strong connection with Him....

Feeling overwhelmed is something we all go through, and sometimes it can seem like it's taking over everything. Learning how to handle your emotions when you're overwhelmed is a really important part of life.
Ultimately, the teachings of Islam encourage believers to place their trust in Allah's wisdom and mercy. Understanding that challenges are a part of life's journey and that seeking help through prayer, supplication, and community can provide a sense of relief and guidance when feeling...

This particular episode has been one of the most highly requested ones I've had so far. Discussing insecurities is never an easy topic, and as individuals strive to become better and more modest Muslims, each journey should lead to a destination. Throughout this process, it's common to experience moments of insecurity and a fading sense of confidence, particularly when one's appearance sets them apart as a Muslim. Not to mention, confidence is a positive quality valued in Islam. The belief in...

Special Needs and Islam is a discussion that a lot of people aren't educated or comfortable discussing. Unfortunately, due to the treatment special needs individuals receive in their local masjids and by their community, it is more convenient for parents or special needs individuals to feel the need to hide themselves. Due to this lack of knowledge and ignorance regarding how the Muslim community treats individuals with disabilities or special needs, we are effectively removing and harming a...

Moving mountains through ministrations, Dhikr is not just words. It is how one remembers God and subconsciously moves oneself onto the righteous path. The remembrance of God reverberates throughout Islamic history, from the tongues of the prophets to those of the common man. The remembrance of God echoed when Musa (A.S) split the sea, echoed when Hajar ran between mountains, and echoes when the common man today succumbs to ministrations. Tawakkul is the blind trust in Allah, a trust that...

The prevalence of pop psychology is increasing, with more and more people sharing psychological facts that may be trendy but lack factual accuracy. "Why are we tested?"
"What is the purpose of this test?"
"How does creating a relationship with the Quran exactly help me in my tests?"
These are questions that cross our minds when we face hardships. We know Allah is there to help us, we know we are rewarded, and we know the Quran is our guidance through difficulty. However, for some reason, the burden of hardship continues to overwhelm us.

The discussion surrounding decision-making and pursuing one's dreams while having immigrant parents is always challenging for most young adults. While you deeply appreciate the sacrifices they have made, it also brings a sense of pressure to meet their expectations. As you progress in life and make choices that may be Islamically correct but deviate from the "ideal child mold," finding a balance between pleasing your parents and prioritizing your own happiness can be difficult. indecisiveness & "trusting our gut" can be very hard at times. in most cases, it is easy to change your mind and spin in the circles of indecisiveness but these circles usually go nowhere. however, if you make a decision that is incredibly rational & thought through, while referring to Islam in mind, it can make the process a lot easier.
