An essential podcast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My review of this podcast is coming from the Season 2 series which provides a relatively detailed overview of the first 100 years post-Muhammad PBUH. I have so many good things to say, I will try to be as succinct as possible: For starters, it is very hard to find this content in podcast format but Muttaqi (the host) has taken upon the rigorous task of not only creating this content - but delivering it with precision, organization, depth, nuance, and passion. Seriously bro, may Allah SWT reward you for these efforts Another thing I must applaud here is that he approaches the topic overall from an objective perspective. I’ve seen some comments below of people being upset; these people operate in a bubble of confirmation bias and Muttaqi please do not let that affect your work. As a Muslim myself, I know how easy it is to love in a bubble - but I approach my convictions as an academic. Which is why I appreciate this podcast so much because you’re citing sources, illustrating the opposing views on certain events - this is the equivalent methodology applied in Universities. I have spent over a decade studying Islam insofar as the Quran itself and have always wanted to delve into the human history of Islam. You answered my prayers. A must listen to anyone interested in 7th century history - the birth of an empire that changed the world. The successor of the two Goliaths (Rome and Persian). 🙏🏽

Stumbled upon this podcast during Ramadan as I was looking for a new way to add knowledge. Almost through the first season so far and think it is a strong podcast. Looking forward to more. Muttaqi comes off as a real one and I enjoy the personality.
