“Because the two hosts are far too knowledgeable and professional to be fans like you and me! However you might classify it, this show is superb. Dan and Mike have an easy chemistry, and a shared love for the minutiae of Islanders history and fandom. It is wonderfully helpful to hear their insights between games, and has been cathartic in the not-so-recent dark ages. They also have dry senses of humor (Leebowski anyone?), and probably get approached during tailgates by people who don’t know them, but feel like they do. That’s what happens when your show is this good!”
