Hardly worthy of NPR
This show is not funny, not clever and not good content. In the most recent episode, we learned that doom-scrolling is “reading” and we heard a (not funny) comparison of the Supreme Court and Real Housewives. The representation of the issues before the court was extremely shallow, opinionated and lacking in substance. Did I mention not funny? It’s shameful that this type of content exists on NPR alongside truly quality great programming from All Things Considered, Nina Totenberg, Wait Wait, etc. Is this what we can expect from NPR in the future? If so, count me and my 30+ year history of donations out.

More reviews of It's Been a Minute with Sam Sanders
We’re only two episodes in but Lena Waithe! It’s casual, fast-paced listening. Like Fresh Air but Sam talks faster, code switches effortlessly, and the NPR friends have shrugged off their on-air formality. I followed him over from NPR Politics, and both are on my must-listen-to-every-episode list.

Seriously? They're just yammering on about nothing for a long long time. So dull. Oh Sam Sanders. I had such high hopes for you.Read full review »
