Inspiring and honest
I came to J. Brown Yoga thru a post from Yoga Dork on Facebook. . I had never heard of J or his methodology/course of Gentle is the New Advanced. A quick convo with J about the course and I dived in. Since then I have been listening to his podcasts during carpool. J is as interested in a conversation with his fellow teachers as we are in listening. I find a take away in every conversation, perhaps its a quote, resource or something to ponder on. Thanks J, I always look forward to your podcasts. PS. It gets easier with kids and the bedtime routine. Soon you'll be sitting back and letting them get ready themselves :) PPS. Can we have a part 2 convo with Judith Hanson Laster? I would love to hear more about her journey with restorative yoga.Read full review »

No fawning over...Read full review »

Although Yoga Talks is substantially about yoga, J Brown has something deeper going on here. He's taking risks with the podcast format: He's being genuinely intimate with his audience. He's sharing himself and it doesn't seem self-indulgent, rather it feels authentic, it seems...Read full review »
