Thank you, You have my support
I am the mother of a transgendered 11-year-old. I was introduced to this podcast because of that. I am also a yoga teacher of 20 years. I thought it was very enlightening to hear the podcast of an opposing opinion especially from a long time yoga teacher. I did not have to agree but it was interesting to hear the opposing side from someone who you would expect to have the same views as I do. This is very enlightening to me to also see where the legislators inMy state may be coming from. Misinformation? Absolutely! But this does not mean we cannot hear two sides of opinions and that we live in a bubble. As a host should there be possibly more education on such a sensitive topic before an interview? Yes I believe that could be helpful. However it was not done in malice and it was not done intentional as a slam against a transgender community. I believe these interviews came from a place of wanting to listen and understand and hear so that you can collect all the data from both sides. I very much appreciate what has been put out and the counter and deep consideration of listening to people who actually live in the transgender world and have real not inflammatory information to provide. Please do not ever take down any of your conversations. They are valuable. You are valuable. Thank you.
