“I love James passion for music, his enthusiasm is infectious, I love the research into the background, however I’d listened to them all so far and enjoyed them all but he’d not convinced me 2016 was the ‘best’ year for music, none of the choices quite sold me until the Laura Mvula album, which I ordered on vinyl 5 minutes into listening to this podcast.
We have seen James live a few times and enjoy his style. I agreed with Jen that you cannot base 2016 as the best year on one album alone.
