“I think what folks are complaining about in these videos is the chef's accent. English is obviously not his first language and combined with the cultural differences between the East and the West, you have a man who is giving his best to try to make the subject fun and lighthearted. I've taken quite a few sushi making courses and have won an amateur sushi competition and found at least the sushi video to be informative albeit very basic. It's for the rank beginner with very little cooking skill. Now, if you speed up the video to 1.25x, it'll make a lot more sense to our rapid-fire, I want this yesterday society. There are better videos on sushi making found elsewhere, but one star for these videos is pretty harsh.”
