Once the friend of the rich and famous, she now awaits her fate in a New York City prison. During the four-week trial, the government alleged: “Ghislaine Maxwell made her own choices. She committed crimes hand in hand with Jeffrey Epstein. She was a grown woman who knew exactly what she was doing.” Moreover, she was found guilty by a jury of five out of the six charges, including sex trafficking a minor. Maxwell’s sex trafficking charge may see a maximum prison term of 40 years. At her age, she will probably die in jail. So what will life be like for her in a Federal facility?
