Pheobe judge is painfully annoying and arrogant. I level this show because Greg guys are real. Hope she never comes back on

I wanted to love this podcast since I love true crime and love MFM. But this podcast really does not go in depth at all, does not provide any new information, does not even provide basic information at all about most cases. For example in the Job Bonet episode, they did not even mention anything...Read full review »

Um, um, um. So if you talk that, this is for you. I couldn’t even get to the cont. terrible.

Paul Holes and Billy Jensen deliver razor sharp accurate accounts of true crime, pop culture, current events, and personal stories that dissolve their law enforcement backgrounds and expose them as their true down-to-earth, approachable, family types that are relatable and truly endearing....Read full review »

I am loving the winter distraction episodes so interesting and some funny bits. I thinks these episodes are so much better than the original episodes. Keep it up

Paul Holes is so interesting! Love to hear his insight based on his experience. Billy Jensen seems to need a different venue that would allow him to talk about himself more. More Paul-less Billy.

The Boulder police completely bungled the Ramsey case. The entire episode on the Ramsey case focused on the note (which granted, was extremely bizarre) and comparing it to movie ransome notes. The actual DNA found on the scene in three different locations that matches a male OUTSIDE of the Ramsey...Read full review »

This is a good enough show, but it is boring. It doesn’t have the charm of MFM. I think this is because Billy has an agenda that he enforces for each show (what to cover, order to cover). I think if Billy allowed the conversation to flow a little more, have a some spontaneity, it would be more...Read full review »

Love Paul Holes! Thank you!

Changed from 5 to 1... what happened to the actual Murder Squad idea? I thought that was the whole point??? Not interested in crime interviews or tons of time spent talking about personal info. Can you please get back to the point of the show more z?

Love the show. I feel like I’m in the room with everyone bouncing around ideas. On that note, Billy, stop heavy sighing!!! Lol! Great show guys!!
Kris0965 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/14/20
I find this show to be quite informative and fascinating. I do not love Billy Jensen’s propensity to loudly exhale and/or heavily sigh into the microphone incessantly throughout each show.

Billy & Paul’s motive is to solve cold cases. It’s the best reason to have a podcast. I love the personalities of both men. Paul’s best line is that he doesn’t really listen to podcasts but he is a podcaster. He’s so genuine and is doing this for all the right reasons. Billy’s empathic,...Read full review »

These guys make cold cases real again ... they are the voice of the muted.

Billy and Paul do a great job giving details in hopes of finding more information to solve a crime! They are experts and convey the evidence clear and concisely! Bravo!

I think the note had absolutely nothing to do with the killing. The writer was amused when he wrote the note. He had already killed the child. My guess is a young man who knew the family and was so jealous he could not breathe.....maybe John’s illegitimate child

Why talk about The Ramsey case at all if you don’t actually have the autopsy report or all the information?
Sulu1201 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/10/20
Meh
I’ve tried. Way too much jibber jabber about themselves. Can’t get past the vocal fry. Moving on.

I love the angle of getting victims stories told and using this platform to help solve crimes. Great production and narration. Easy to listen to and follow along even while multi tasking. Well done.

There can’t be more of a perfect addition to the true crime world than Billy and Paul!! It starts with Georgia and Karen, who are incredible geniuses, and then Billy’s passion for solving cold cases and Paul’s long career in law enforcement are a trifecta (except four...LOL!)

I hate when they spend the first ten minutes of the podcast talking to each other and what is new in their life. They talk about their personal life more then they do the podcast.

I love the dynamic that Billy and Paul have, especially the experience and knowledge Paul brings due to his years as a detective

Billy and Paul , Thanks for making my work trips around the great state of Tennessee very enjoyable! Thanks for being so passionate about cold cases and trying to bring closure to those families! God love ya!

The ep with Georgia & Karen re: The Staircase was so good. U all have fab chemistry.

Love this podcast, but you could play a fun drinking game with the sighs both host do throughout the podcast. Will most definitely continue to listen, but the sighs do get a bit annoying.

I have followed Paul Holes all the way through the GSK case and I was so happy too see he created his own podcast. I am a Crime Junkie junkie and this podcast has become one of favorites. They are very respectful of the victims and want to see justice for these crimes.

I absolutely love this series/podcast. First time podcaster and I listen on the long drive to & from work. These two guys are giving it their all to help families. I have heard alot old cases from back in the day, that I did not realize. (I'm 59) Truly a great listen!!Read full review »

Great episode. Such a pleasure to hear these four together. Bright intellects dissecting crime scenes and 911 calls in a very informative manner, topped with a sprinkling of tart humor.

I love these two! The knowledge and experience they bring is insane. Plus, soothing voices 👌🏻

I absolutely love Paul Holes. He is a no-nonsense expert. I love hearing his perspectives on cases and I genuinely appreciate that this podcast is focused on potentially solvable cases. It’s encouraging that these stories are being shared with the goal of finding justice for the victims. Thanks!!
JLSpraggs via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/03/20
I appreciate the serious and informative approach. The hosts are serious and seem to care about the victims. Many podcasts seem to be about who is funny or who can be the most salacious or dramatic. Holes is really good.

No nonsense , no unnecessary drama

Solid podcast, but dry... the opening song is really unappealing. Also, I like both hosts, but I feel myself welling up with sympathy towards Billy because it is extremely obvious when he tries to insert self-aggrandizing comments into the conservation and pretends like it’s relevant; his...Read full review »
