Solid podcast, but dry... the opening song is really unappealing. Also, I like both hosts, but I feel myself welling up with sympathy towards Billy because it is extremely obvious when he tries to insert self-aggrandizing comments into the conservation and pretends like it’s relevant; his competitiveness with Holes is uncomfortable to witness and he needs to just analyze the case without feeling the need to triumph over Holes and his celebrity status. I also was disappointed with the podcast about the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s movement (MMIW) and the many unsolved tragedies that strike these ancient peoples and their nations; the audio was terrible and the dialogue seemed undirected. Just one episode for such a hugely devastating topic seemed unethical. There’s a lot of potential; some humility and energy would go a long way on this podcast.
