I cant throw stones
Let me straight to the point , I dont fit in , I dont say a lot of nice things and to be blunt I am a work in progress . In my darkest days ( drugs , lots of booze and losing jobs) I found Lakewood church . Yes I used to sit there and watch Joel on the TV and drink a six pack of beer . Now I look foward to Sunday to see whats next, am I ready for a regular church not quite yet but Joel reminded me of one thing is those darkest of days . That God still loved me . Could his message have more biblical quotes ( maybe ) but when your really down some time being reminded of Gods love with a practical examples , may do more for some than quoting the BibleRead full review »

I find Joel charismatic, optomistic, and realistic. He doesn't go off on absurd tangents that have nothing to do with the topic at hand.
