Spectacular

This is hands down one of the best audio productions I've ever listened to. So beautifully immersive and perfectly narrated, and the choice of sound tracks is sheer perfection. I have an overly active mind and I need daily escapes to quiet down and recenter. This podcast was nothing short of therapeutic!

Your guide brought you to altitude to quickly

It’s not surprising that your trekking partner suffered from altitude mountain sickness, considering how quickly you ascended. Recommendations are to go no more than 300 meters per day with a rest day every thousand meters. Also it’s recommended to spend three nights in Namche Bazaar. Most trekking companies don’t adhere to those recommendations which accounts for many cases of altitude sickness that could be avoided.

FAVOURITE PODCAST!

JOURNEY has been such a delight to listen to! It is made with excellence. As in the description it truly is an immersive experience. Ryan combines audio from his hike including narration and the sounds of nature and combines it with his great story telling. I look forward to the new episode each week. I will be so sad when the season concludes.

If you like Ryan’s narrating and story telling you will love his other podcasts! Check out Guilt. It is also phenomenally made.
