This podcast provides a thorough investigation of Jungian ideas. It is similar to taking a university course but without the time, distance, and financial barriers. I take copious notes as I listen. This is an excellent companion to This Jungian Life podcast. I also really value that it is Canadian.

He takes his time to illustrate the foundation of jungian psychology in a way that is easy to follow. I haven’t found a better introduction to the topic yet.

One of the best if not the best podcast source to understand jungian psychology from beginners to more advanced.

This is the most interesting podcast I ever listened to. Consistently high in quality, it goes on to show the depth of expertise the author developed in Jungian psychology. Jungian teachings are sometimes inaccessible because of many interpretations and resources sometimes dilluting Jung's...Read full review »

I appreciate the enormous amount of effort it takes to record each individual podcast. I hope Dr. Betts will be able to continue to introduce some new episodes in the future. Dr betts's voice has a soothing quality which promotes contemplation.

A perfect introduction to Jung with all the key concepts. John Betts explains each clearly with example and dry humour! Highly recommended. Only feedback would be that there should be more! I couldn't find episode 29.

John Betts offers this comprehensive overview of Jungian psychology that is at once in-depth and easily understood. No small feat unto itself. And, like all truly great presenters/teachers, he alludes to the vastness of what is unsaid as well, the great mysteries beyond the framework. So far,...Read full review »

I have had my Ph.D. in psychology for 16 years and tried to study Jung in graduate school. The concepts were rich and full of energy but I just could not grasp them. John Betts translates the numinousity of analytic psychology into words the left brain can understand. He is a wonderful...Read full review »

I've been interested in Analytical Psychology for nearly two decades. I started reading Jung's original works in my late teens, so when I first subscribed to this pod cast I never expected to get as much out of it as I have. This pod cast manages to be relevant for people both new and well...Read full review »
