“I just listened to the interview with Mary Lou Conroy. This was an inspired choice of guest. Not as flashy as other food television pioneers but so memorable nonetheless. As the interview progressed, I got that sense of comfort in her stories as I did watching her narrate Great Chefs so many years ago. I appreciated Julia’s approach by conducting the interview as a conversation between new friends learning about each other. I hope Julia gets to Louisiana to meet her in person someday. This was a thoroughly enjoyable podcast.”
