Specific to Episode from 29/5/20
I LOVE this podcast and while I prefer Kermode and Mayo I have no problem with most of the supply teachers but last Friday’s episode was the worst I have ever listened to. Whoever thought it was a good idea to do a top 10 do Swedish comedies needs to have a good look at themselves. 20 minutes on films so obscure that neither Edith nor the critic had even heard of let alone seen most of them. Edith was for the most part just reading from the contibutor’s email. How is that entertaining or educating for the rest of us??? Sorry but so dull I gave up listening. I know content is hard to come by at the moment but, really????

Simon does a great job too - the new odd couple. The bickering is...Read full review »
