“I like the podcast. Its a large reason why I bought a Series X (my first Xbox ever), along with Game Pass. However, you could do with a little less cheerleading. Its getting a little annoying.
Edit: To follow up on this review, and upon listening to your most-recent podcast where you discuss the whole Game Pass/games journalism meme, the problem is not that you’re being positive; its that in your effort to celebrate Game Pass, you sound as if you would be unwilling to entertain any criticism of it. Nothing is ever wholly good or perfect. You guys make valid points against many of the so-called “criticisms” levied against Game Pass (for example, we all have Netflix, so ownership of the content should no longer be an issue), but the cheerleading gets to a point where - at least so far as I’m concerned - it gets draining to hear. The podcast sometimes sounds more like paid advertising circa 1980s than actual video games commentary and discussion. Again, love the podcast, love the fact that you guys have POC, but the cheerleading…omg the cheerleading needs to be toned down a tad!”
