“With intelligence, insight, sensitivity, and humor, Craig Budner, moderator, is a force (without making it about himself). With a background in the law, in a sense, this is a professional focused podcast—his guests backgrounds are varied and accomplished, but what makes this podcast different is the combination of business acumen and advice shared along with food for thought on the way to be better human beings. His last episode with L. Song Richardson, the Dean and Chancellor’s Professor of Law at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, is a perfect example: the show examines the phenomenon of implicit bias, not only through the lens of a scholar (which she is, without question) but with her personal experience as bi-racial. This topic could not be more relevant, obviously, and I really felt I learned something about the fact that we are all racist, in the sense that our brains categorize automatically, unconsciously. This discussion is so nuanced, and goes so much deeper than other podcasts and articles I have read on the subject. I appreciated the clear background work Mr. Budner did to be ready for this interview, which was obvious based on the spot-on questions and follow-ups that he asked his guest. This podcast is a unique blend of business, global economy, and psychology. Each of the episodes are fascinating in their own right. GIVE THIS ONE A LISTEN!!”
