The beauty, the art, and the tragedy of Vincent van Gogh
Listen now
Description
Van Gogh has always been my favorite artist. not only because of the interesting style of painting he had accomplished in his later years, but rather the pain and sadness behind the most colorful art. he had a talent, a gift really, of seeing the world around him in the most beautiful way while also living a life of pain. he showed me at a young age that yes life is tough and it can absolutely suck sometimes, but breathe the air, smell the flowers, see the world for what it is, beauty and pain in a melancholic mixture. there is balance in everything. i want to share with you the story of his life, his art, his pain, and his tragic end in hopes that you too will find beauty in your sadness and realize that the world itself is not cruel. enjoy the episode and let me know your favorite artist by DM-ing me on instagram, @kyra2am ...love you!
