Love love love this podcast. I love comedy and history and these guys blend that perfectly. They’re really funny and smart and just a joy to listen to. Highly recommend!

Too good

This podcast should be dry and boring, but its not! Strangely, it’s one of the most entertaining podcasts I listen to, a perfect mix of historical intrigue and niche comedic banter. 10/10 No notes.

Exploring LA One Joke At A Time

With 7 of the 15 LA Council Members disgraced over a 3 year period this show has never been more welcome. These guys are amazed amused and appalled as they lay out the history and urban legends (i.e. a dragon living in Griffith Park) of a city they know well. Frequently what they turn up during their research surprises them and their sense of discovery is infectious. The two are old friends, and their goofing around and humor is a welcome change from the shrill forced banter that characterizes a lot of podcasts with co-hosts. The shows are arranged by topic and you can start anywhere. I particularly like the Christmas Shows. Five stars.
