“Admittedly I only listened to 10 minutes of one episode, but I've never hated anything so quickly.
That one episode was the "Alexa" podcast. Within the first ten minutes they set off my Echo devices dozens of times by referring to them as "Alexa" (instead of "Echo") while the host and a guest issued Alexa commands LONG after they made their point about Alexa is good for home automation. No attempts to bleep out the command or general awareness of what they were doing. Every time I thought they were smart enough to realize they made their point and would stop, they'd keep going. "Alexa, play piano music, etc."
So there are two ways to look at it: 1: Either they're completely clueless about what they're doing, which puts a question mark over their reporting because they're not very bright or 2: They know they're trolling people and think it's funny. That means they have no respect for their listener.
I didn't bother with any other episodes because I didn't care to find out which one they were. There are too many great podcasts out there that don't troll the listener.”Read full review »

“Great content and production. I find it irritating in Episode 2 when Del Ray continuously says "Mar-in" for "Martin." There's a T in the name, and the issue is more glaring when Alexa correctly says "Martin." Seems sloppy to me.”Read full review »
