Excitement to learn and a Question

Hi Dr. Briden,

I’m excited to start a journey of learning about my body and hormones! I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding getting on the pill for the benefit of being protected from certain types of cancers? Also how getting off the pill after a few months affects the body? Is it the same as if you were on it for years or are the effects a bit easier to manage? Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.

Best wishes,
A listener eager to learn😊
