“I was really enjoying this podcast and likely would have pod 5 stars, I think the cases are unique enough for the most part and not too over done by other pods. the information put out by them is really well put together and they are respectful usually but a few episodes left me with a really bad taste.. specifically the episode with the missing scuba diver. I felt this this episode was very disrespectful and cold. A lot of joking around and blatant unfiltered victim shaming, a lot of weird talk about vacationing and wanting to scuba. I would go as far as to say they should delete this episode all together. i can’t even imagine what it would be like to be know the victim and listen to that episode, it was horribly cruel and disgustingly detached and it really made me sick them talking about wanting to vacation While discussing this missing presumed deceased man. Other than that in more than just this episode there are quite a few awkward moments where it seems like they are having like couple moments or inside joke/inside commentary which comes off completely weird and not relatable to anyone but them as often it results in long silences (which I’m guessing are looks exchanged?) before finally breaking it to say something, or just extremely awkward verbal exchanges. Other than that I do enjoy listening to this but please please I do ask the host to do better. And I would say you should really either remove or redo that episode with the diver as it’s incredibly disrespectful and as far as I’ve seen a poor reflection of your work as a whole.”
