The Greatest Podcast
As many other reviewers have mentioned Phillip Adams is an Australian Icon. I’ve been a devoted fan of LNL since the early days, when podcasts didn’t exist. From memory I think the show was broadcast on ABC radio stations such as 3LO in Melbourne and whatever the equivalent station was in NSW. Because of my own commitments and lifestyle/location I missed a few years of the program - and then came podcasts. It is so good to be able to automatically download episodes so that they can be listened to at any time. I’m about 5 years younger than Phillip and I must say he keeps me young. His self-pronounced Leftist sympathies are a bonus to me as, unlike the right-wing shock jocks of the commercial media he is able to interview people from all points on the political spectrum without any obvious bias and repelling effects to the interviewee. Selfishly, I hope Phil stays broadcasting for a long time into the future. We need him. I must say that one of my ‘bucket list’ collection is to be able to meet and/or shake the hand of this great man before one of us leaves the planet. Thank you Phillip. Bill Stratford

A National Treasure, possibly the widest range of topics covered in a single radio show and comfy as an old pair of jeans. Citizen Adams challenges the listener to think clearly about a topic and to involve the emotions too. Opinions and depth of debate rarely found on broadcast media, except...Read full review »
