“I found the interview with Sheri Dew while on a trip to another state to help my brother get help for anxiety and alcoholism. Your discussion about “ordinary” women struck home. I’m married with three young adult children and am blessed by striving to live on the covenant path. My brother chose another path, yet we love and respect each other.
While making a 9 hr drive with him, I asked if we could listen to General Conference on satellite radio. He agreed—just to be kind to me. He was quiet during the talks and I realized this might be the first time he’s listened to Conference ever. He didn’t see a light or experience a major conversion, but he caught a glimmer of the Savior’s love. The next day was Sunday and he asked if I wanted to watch Conference on TV—so we watched Pres Nelson’s talk on Sunday AM.
