“I’m a long time listener and appreciate many years of great Friday listens - but in the last couple months the show (summer / fall 2021) and hosts have really lost the plot. What set the show apart was its law first, politics a distant second stance - understanding that the two are often inseparable - the hosts in past years have done a reasonable job of balancing and often maintaining a sort of light heartedness in an episode even when handling very heavy subjects. That effort has seemingly been abandoned in favor of broad brush issue coverage and that’s a shame. Not saying there isn’t a point in covering a variety of social issues - I just wasn’t hear (pun intended) primarily for that. Thanks for all the past seasons.”
