LGM Podcast: Protecting Social Security
Listen now
Description
For today’s podcast, I was happy to speak to two of the long-time fighters to expand Social Security, Nancy Altman and Eric Kingston, about their new book, just out from The New Press, Social Security Works for Everyone! Protecting and Expanding the Insurance Americans Love and Count On. This was a great conversation about what Social Security really does, why the right continues its war against such a popular program, the myths conservatives use to attack it, and why we need to expand the program to create a bigger safety net. I am sure you all will very much enjoy this one.
