On this episode of Le Run Down I had an amazing conversation with Pro Skier, Runner and Wings For Life World Run Ambassador, Mike Shaw. Mike participated in many sports growing up but really excelled at extreme sports and fell in love with free skill skiing. In an instance that love was taken away from him after tragic ski accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. Miraculously he's been able to recover from his injury and enjoys a pretty normal life, dedicated to helping others. He's now a motivational speaker, runner and yes, he's even been able to hit the slopes, something he never thought would be possible.
