“In a world of sub-par Chinese study material, this is really a rare find. I love that there is no English. Also, I like that they discuss the lesson in more detail during the podcast. This allows me to see how the content can be retold in a more colloquial way. Some users noted that the subjects can be boring. I would have to disagree. I really like that they bring in Chinese short stories and important historical figures. These are important for being able to converse with Chinese people, as well as for gaining a deeper understanding of the language. My only reservation is that they should add the full text of the news podcast. Sometimes that can be a little tough and would be easier to follow along if it were done more like the normal podcast. As noted earlier, this is an intermediate/advanced podcast and should not be expected to contain English.”
