It’s great. Takes some time before I can really speak it but some day… that will do it! M.L.S.

I was trying many podcasts to supplement my Chinese learning and I always find myself coming back to this one. There are many reasons for that: it is very well structured, the vocabulary choice is great and is exactly the amount to keep you interested and give some challenge but tether than...Read full review »

I think it’s a perfect podcast once you past that early phase of learning Chinese. I thoroughly enjoy listening - straightforward- I can practice basic words I already know and I’m reminded of the ones that are little tricky to remember

The podcast is very informative and explains each topic in a way that is easy to understand. Therefore I subscribed to the website which has PDFs of the lessons which I also found very helpful, the only thing the PDFs lack are pronunciation for example NiHao is it pronounced knee how or knee ha...Read full review »

I think it would be better if person had better tone. I can tell this person is not a native speaker. It’s okay just not as accurate as it could be.

I think you should slow down a bit and explain things a bit more, also I think you should try to give a few more basic stuff out before going into food types. Other than that it is great

I was searching far and wide for a podcast that delivers organized English then Chinese phrase-by-phrase translations organized as a lesson around a certain topic, and thankfully found it here. Serge’s lessons cover real world daily conversational topics in the best format I’ve found. The...Read full review »

I have been listening to/testing out a lot of different podcasts aimed at teaching Chinese to beginners. This one by far is the easiest to follow and most informative.

I like it because it’s not too basic. Some podcasts are too beginner. This is definitely more advanced but i like it. The dialogues are great ways to improve listening

I study Chinese on my own. This is a great way to get some listening practice in the car on the way to work, etc. I’ve always surprisingly learned a lot of new vocabulary with his lessons, such as 摇滚音乐 haha! 非常感谢

Sorry Melnik but your program is illogical and doesnt make sense. You make one lesson on tones and then next few lessons 3,4 when you introduce new words you never mention the tones of new vocabulary and the newbies are supposed to guess which tones. Would never trust you with my education, let...Read full review »

I learn so much new Chinese vocabulary and grammar points, and this podcast has helped me through many situations!
