Listen now
Description
Claudia Adler is the definition of a learner. After studying Law at university, she embarked on an MSc in International Humanitarian Issues. And she is currently doing a Ph.D. student at York University, performing extensive research to examine education critically in her paper titled; Beyond Schools and Jobs: How education can empower women and girls to "become." Claudia is also the founder of Raices, a social enterprise that strives to create its footprint on the issues that it brings to the table. Her mission began when she visited Uganda for the first time in 2015. It was this experience that made her understand the value of education and its potential to affect generations.   See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
