Interesting subject but a bit let down
To preface this I am a Londoner who you would probably call left-wing, or woke. I even work in DEI. At first I really enjoyed the episodes about Thatcher and from a historical perspective I learned a fair bit. However I have to say I wish Afua would stop ranting. She is very angry at Britain and her views are too black and white and repetitive to be very engaging. Especially towards the end - by the fourth episode I was so tired of being ranted at even tho these are my very views! This is a history podcast. Not the afua sermon…. She needs to learn how to come across as a bit more balanced and not shoe horn her views in every time. And maybe recognise that despite its failings Britain has done a lot for her and others like me who grew up in a very disadvantaged community. I like it better when she sees the humanity in people and I think the two presenters work quite well (although the man sounded quite annoyed about her views of the falklands war and it ended straight after he told her off like a child which I also found unfair). I think these two could learn a lot from This Is Politics.

Really interesting and informative. Really makes you think about these important figures.

I’m afraid I agree with EveHWM and others, this format is absolutely beneath both of you.
