Friendly Correction
I just listened to your episode about James Joyce, which I enjoyed; however, right before you wrapped up with a toast to the man, you slipped in how he never put his family first. I’d like to challenge that belief and urge you to read more on the topic. My understanding was he was pretty into his wife (she was a central character in Ulysses), and adored his two kids. Yes he was a drunk at times, and a struggling writer through out, but my belief was he was in his own way a family man.
