“I enjoy this podcast and it helps me in my walk daily. I was listening today and I heard you gals mention Abraham and Isaac. My friend, who claims atheism right now, uses this story as a reason to not believe in God. She doesn’t understand how a God of love would “play some sort of trick” on a man He claims to love. Honestly, I didn’t know what to tell her. I think I agreed with her in part because it does indeed sound so absurd.
However it brings me peace and comfort to hear you all dive into the story more. I did not know Abraham had faith that his son Isaac would be resurrected.
I just want to know more about helping people see God’s goodness when stories like Abraham and Isaac don’t seem good.”
