“The guests are great -and so patient with the host. The guests truly have interesting things to say, but le ton persifleur de Laure Adler and her brutal interjections out of place are more annoying than enlightening. Her voice is also not particularly easy on the ears either (…not a radio voice?). I was hoping for a more conversational tone: the show sounds more like a foire d’empoigne with very polite (and stunned) guests who are not here to wrestle anyone. In short: Laure Adler is no Terry Gross.”
